julia

i get to visit my dear friend, julia, in three days. she lives in tn, so i will be flying into nashville. we are going to andrew jackson's home, http://www.thehermitage.com/ after she picks me up from the airport and then we are just going to catch up the rest of the weekend. i'm sure there will be fun movies to watch and lots of laughing. it is going to be a very sweet time.

julia was my college roommate for 2 years. we were in each other's weddings.

her husband has served in iraq twice, and is currently in afghantistan. she has lived in germany, oklahoma, and now tennessee. she was born and raised in indiana, and hates the movie hoosiers. richard simmons was on the same cruise ship she and her husband were on for their honeymoon. i mean, how many people can claim that?

i just realized that i have no digital pictures of the two of us! when we were in college, digital cameras were just coming onto the scene, so we only have old school pictures. i want to scan some of those onto my computer sometime.

julia is a funny, kind person who loves the Lord, and i am blessed to call her my friend.
