i still pinch myself because i can't believe i am pregnant. sometimes i find myself crying because i am so happy that i have a little life growing inside of me. i just don't take it for granted. it's a miracle. it's humbling.
i love kashi crisp cereal. not only does it have the same amount of protein as an egg, but there are little bits of delicious dried fruit in it, and the crispy whole grain part isn't so crunchy like the kashi crunch version, which i feel is going to tear my mouth apart.
i miss having a nice glass of wine. after about four more months of pregnancy and then however many more months of nursing, and then i will have my glass of wine. it will be a good one.

i am past due for a haircut. i really like this look:
and this one, too:
i really need to hit the gym.
this winter is really dragging on and on, and i hate the brown slush that is everywhere.
i've been contemplating different ways to save money. care to share any ideas with me?
i took the day off friday. i slept in and took it easy. i met up with a new friend, crystal b. at caribou for coffee. i thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
saturday morning i enjoyed a nice brunch at Zumbro Cafe in linden hills with my sister-in-law, naomi. we visited a couple shops in the area afterward. i love spending time with family. later that night, i went to grand avenue with my mom. i bought a couple things for baby at Baby Banou. banou is persian for "lady". we ate a delicious dinner at Salut and then toured the James J. Hill house on summit avenue.
i miss brett who has been skiing in vail, colorado since last wednesday. he comes home tomorrow night.

I love all the pictures with this post, Sarah! Thanks for the comment on my blog. I haven't read the Maisie Dobbs series before - I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the reference :) I hope you are feeling better. Now I want to try the cereal you posted about. How 'bout posting a baby tummy picture soon?!? :)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Bethany
I love Heidi Klum's hair in that picture. You should do it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteDo what you feel comfortable with, but my doctor always said it was just fine to have a glass of wine during pregnancy and while nursing. One glass won't do anything. Just keep it to one! ;)
