June started off with a bang: Stella's last day of kindergarten, her sixth birthday the following day plus flying out to Ohio to visit Brett's side of the family! Later in the month we got to meet new cousin, baby Hemingway, and be reunited with my older brother, my sister-in-law, and niece, Gwenyth. But, first: Stella's last day of school!
Stella had a wonderful first year of school, and we are thankful to report that she really thrived in kindergarten in many ways. We are so proud of all the hard work she put in, not to mention the huge adjustments she made to a full day of school. On her last day she had a half-day of school, and then she, Grace, and I met my mom, sister, and nephew for lunch. My mom also gave her some birthday presents since we would be flying out the next day, her birthday, to Ohio.
