my dear small group friends hosted a baby shower for me saturday night. i was humbled by their loving and thoughtful gifts-not to mention kind words via Bible verses and encouraging motherly advice. i feel rich when it comes to these friendships.

baby update: i had my 36-week checkup today. baby has dropped. the dr. said that in that moment, the baby's butt was up in my ribs and her back was curled up on one side, which kind of reminds me of how topher takes his naps all curled up!
i am definitely waddling now. i feel huge, VERY sore, uncomfortable, and FAT! the doctor noticed that my legs looked swollen, but she said she is not worried because my blood pressure is good.
i am starting to get my stuff together for the bag i will pack for the hospital stay.
