Brett's parents, Harry and Elaine, visited us over the weekend. Stella had so much fun spending time with her grandparents: they brought her gifts (a book, clothes, and a stuffed animal lamb) and doted on her with love and attention. We enjoyed one outing on Friday to the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis. We looked at different exhibits and rode up an elevator for a tour and got to take in a top floor scenic view of St. Anthony Falls on the Mississippi as well as the ruins of what was once the world's largest flour mill.

So now I know the culprit behind the invention of that scary popping biscuit can!

Brett's parents left Monday morning and drove all the way back to Ohio in one day's drive. Brett was sick the next day, so he stayed home from work to recover. Stella couldn't understand why her daddy wasn't playing with her and lying on the couch instead. With his being home all weekend and then Monday, she really bonded with him. Whenever she sees him, she beams and enthusiastically calls out, "Daddy!"
