While my older brother, my sister-in-law, and their five-month-old daughter, Gwenyth Ivy, have been staying at my parents' home during the summer (they are teachers in Qatar and come home for the summers), our family has fallen in love with sweet baby Gweny. Stella is so sweet with her, and Grace tickles her belly or feet and adopts a baby voice when talking to her.
A few hours before meeting Gwenyth for the first time, we hit up the Excelsior farmers' market where the girls tasted their first snow cone.
Then we headed to Mom and Dad's house for dinner. Jared, Corinne, and Gwenyth had just flown in after hours and hours of international travel. They were craving Pizza Luce, so my mom ordered lots of pizza and salad.

Gweny, we love you so much and have been having a wonderful time getting better acquainted this summer. I try not to think about how hard it will be to say goodbye to you next month, and then not seeing you until next summer. Cue the tears. Well, we will enjoy every moment with you to the fullest!
